THINK REGIONAL 2019 SUMMIT – April 26, 2019

Focus: Collaborative Innovations

Summit Overview- Southwest Ohio  Regional View of Collaborative Innovations

Think Regional Purpose – Support Growth through Collaboration in the South West Ohio Regional Economy, Higher-Paying Jobs and Quality of Life.

2019 Summit Focus -- Collaborative Actions In Progress, Planned, and Funding Support Involved for a Wide Range of New and Creative Developments that are Working to Support Regional Economic Growth Rate.

One of the 6 key issues identified in our first Regional Summit of 2014 was creative and breakthrough Innovations  necessary to support economic growth.  Southwest Oho cannot build a world class economy and achieve greater economic and job growth without engaging in major innovations in key areas.  Thus, at the 2019 Summit we will have 2 morning panels and small group discussions with all attendees in the afternoon that will focus on beginning to explore answers to the following key questions in the areas of Collaborative Innovations:

  1. In the short term, what are the more breakthrough and potentially impactful actions that are underway?   What is the expected benefit for the region and how is the funding being provided?
  2.  In the long term, what are the actions that are being planned to benefit the region in key areas that support long term economic and job growth and quality of life across the region?  Are there any barriers to bringing these actions to reality in the future?
